NEW CAPTAIN (OUPV) 'Fast Track' OPTION3 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The New Captain Option3 Program is designed for candidates who can work independently on course materials but like to interact with other candidates and instructors.

Our Captain program includes independent homestudy with only 28 hours of classroom sessions followed by USCG examinations in a combination of 3 x 8 hour and 1 x 4 hour sessions.

This program is designed for individuals with family or employment commitments who find it difficult to participate in our twelve day Captain course.

Why Register for Option3?

Register if you are a motivated learner who accepts the challenge of independent study but values the opportunity to:
  • meet with other candidates to review work,
  • engage in discussion and
  • receive instruction on critical issues.

Option3 Offers Online Mastery Exams

Option3 provides online examinations for the Captain's program.  Mastery examinations may be completed online from non-classroom locations.

'Fast Track' ON-THE-ROAD Available for Option3

NAV-ED can provide the 'Fast Track' program in 'alternate sites' approved by the USCG.  We can bring our instructors to your yacht or boat club and provide approved instruction in 4 classroom sessions to groups of candidates.

Let's talk details.
